Helping Hands

Helping our citizens with clothing, gas, and utility needs.

What Does Helping Hands Provide?

The Helping Hands program identifies the most vulnerable who live in the Hudson City School District and provides services that enable them to live with dignity and meet their basic emergency needs. Neighbors who experience a financial hardship are provided with emergency support and referrals to outside resources that address longer term needs.

Helping Hands can offer assistance for:

  • Rent

  • Clothing

  • Gasoline for vehicles

  • Utilities

  • HCER fees

  • Referrals for HEAP, PIPP and SNAP
